I have learned the following 5 PROTIPS

PROTIP #1
Using your laptop/Desktop gives you more functionality of the site (i.e. you can get glimpses of profiles by hovering your cursor pointer over a member's profile photo. Using your phone gives you information that you cannot access through using a laptop/desktop computer. There are advantages to using either platform (phone/laptop and mobile site/desktop site)

PROTIP #2
Join an Adult room ( the Live Action dropdown menu)... I joined the one in the Province/State that I lived so that I was connected to people closer to where I lived. It also is an easy way to become part of a of people from whom you may develop a friendship with ... or the very least they will often share tips and tricks in navigating the app & meeting others. A world of possibilities opens up from there ..

PROTIP #3
Create a blogspace ( the Community dropdown menu) where you can copy the items in your profile so those non- members can see your information

PROTIP #4
Add posts to your blogspace so that people can get to know you better.

Blogs allows you and others to send messages back and forth by leaving posts and comments. As the Blogspace owner you can choose what comments are made public and kept private.

PROTIP #5
Create your own discussion through the menu item (in the Community dropdown menu). This will allow you be accessible to people closer to you AND more importantly allow you to create a room to have more private discussions on topics of interest to you and your fellow members that enter your chatroom

Good luck in your adventures. I spent one or 2 weeks exploring each feature so that I could become more proficient with it. I've met many people now and after 1 month heading to my first meet-up. Hope to see you too.
