While I would never describe myself as conservative in any sense, it appears others may when it comes to hetero interactions ... If you're likely to interpret being referred to as Princess or having the door opened for you as somehow paternalistic or chauvinistic instead of recognizing it for its chivalrous intent then I'm sure I'll get on your nerves pretty quickly. As a self employed business owner I find my opportunities to socialise are limited and irregular hence the attraction of this targeted approach.
